4. Last.fm and Listening Data
- Last.fm is the listening signal layer used by AudiPals.
- AudiPals does not currently perform in-app scrobbling.
- AudiPals stores social interaction data more broadly than raw Last.fm listening history.
- Last.fm-derived data is kept minimal and used for app functionality.
- Scrobbling relies on Last.fm-compatible methods chosen by the user, such as native music app integrations or third-party scrobbler apps. AudiPals does not operate its own scrobbling service.
5. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not host music files.
- We do not use your listening profile to create ad targeting segments inside AudiPals.
- We do not sell analytics data or share individual event logs with advertising partners.
6. Sharing and Processors
We use processors and platform providers such as Firebase, Last.fm, app store payment providers, and notification infrastructure providers to deliver the service.
When users enable optional webhook integrations, track updates are sent to user-controlled endpoints (for example Discord or Slack webhooks). These integrations are optional and can be disabled in Settings at any time.
Advertising (free tier): Free-tier users see adverts served by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google may use device identifiers to serve relevant adverts subject to their own privacy policy and your consent preferences. You can manage ad preferences through the consent screen shown on first use or through your device settings. Premium subscribers do not see adverts.
7. Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for the service, security, legal obligations, and user rights handling. Data deletion requests are honored according to our account deletion workflow.
8. Your Rights
Where applicable under UK GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, and objection.
Contact: privacy@audipals.com.
You can also submit an account deletion request at audipals.com/delete-account.
9. International Transfers
Some providers operate outside the UK. Where required, appropriate transfer safeguards are used.
10. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures including encrypted transport, access control rules, and server-side validation for sensitive flows.
11. Policy Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable channels.
12. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the UK ICO at ico.org.uk.
