1. Provider
AudiPals is operated by Rigsmiths Ltd, Scotland (SC754701).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use AudiPals.
3. Service Description
AudiPals is a private social listening service that relies on Last.fm as the listening signal layer.
- AudiPals is not a music streaming service.
- AudiPals does not host music files.
- Data visibility depends on whether playback is successfully scrobbled to Last.fm.
4. Scrobbling and Platform Compatibility
- AudiPals does not currently provide in-app scrobbling.
- Scrobbling relies on Last.fm-compatible methods, including native music app integrations and third-party scrobblers.
- Some app and platform combinations may not support reliable scrobbling (for example, YouTube Music on iOS).
Compatibility is described in the Getting Started guide and may change based on third-party platform rules.
5. Last.fm and Third-Party Dependencies
AudiPals depends on Last.fm and other third-party services. If those services are unavailable or restricted, some AudiPals functionality may be limited.
6. Account and Security
- You are responsible for your account activity and keeping credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate account information.
- You must not impersonate others or misuse identity fields.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to harass users, publish abusive or hateful content, spam, attempt unauthorized access, or use bots/scrapers against AudiPals.
8. Safety and Enforcement
We may moderate content and enforce actions including warnings, feature restrictions, suspensions, or account bans where required for safety or policy compliance.
9. Premium and Billing
Paid features are billed through app stores and subject to store billing terms. Refund handling is governed by the relevant store provider and applicable consumer law.
10. Intellectual Property
AudiPals branding, software, and service materials are owned by Rigsmiths Ltd. Music metadata displayed through integrations remains subject to the rights and terms of source platforms.
11. Warranties and Liability
AudiPals is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential losses.
12. Termination
You may stop using AudiPals at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for terms violations, abuse, or service risk.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable notice channels.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, subject to applicable consumer protection requirements.
